As the new Scion FR-S goes on sale in America to mess with the Civic and Genesis Coupe, the Japanese car maker releases a new commercial showcasing the car’s potential for hooning and sport driving. Naturally lots of sideways action is included because that’s the primary reason why you buy a rear-drive sports car! Scion’s motto for this car is ‘Bringing Sport Back’ which is true, considering the FR-S’ poised and delicate chassis. It has the physics of an athlete. But when it comes to outright performance, the car’s 200-hp engine does not seem up to the job.

No worries though, a high performance version is already in the works. But you have to wait like two years for it. Another way you can get round the car’s lack of power problem is by having that engine tuned.
