This is hands down the best feature ever fitted to any car! The new Fiat 500L, an enlarged version of the Fiat 500, can be specified with an onboard Espresso machine. Designed and built by Lavazza, the system looks like an ordinary cup holder, but it has special mugs that make the coffee as you are driving along. You never have to stop for a hot cup of joe!

This is probably only an option only for the Italian market. Americans don’t like Espresso, and we’re not sure is it even legal in the land of the free to have a coffee machine in your car.

Fiat has done a great job turning the Fiat 500 into a family-oriented mini MPV. They could have just elongate the car and put to extra doors on it, and people would buy it. But they went the extra mile and give the car its unique character, and awesome features like this. They should keep it up, you know. We’re thinking a fridge, a washing machine, maybe a microwave oven.
