Black Amethyst is the name of a one-off version of Lexus LFA super car the company revealed quietly on their Facebook page. It is a one-off, apparently, but the only thing that is unique about it compared to other LFAs is the paint job. Lexus offers a wide range of colors for the LFA, but to maintain exclusivity they only make a handful of each one. This is the only Black Amethyst there will ever be.
It’s not a particularly interesting color to b honest. It looks kinda purpleish. Still, it’s better than what some of the customers choose for their high-end car. I mean yellow or green might be alright, but some people go for pink, or light brown, which is awful!
Technically this car is identical to other LFA’s which means it is powered by a bespoke, high-revving 552bhp 4.8-litre naturally aspirated V10 engine, matched to a rear-mounted six-speed sequential automatic transmission, giving 200mph-plus performance.
