If you were wondering what difference the ‘Speed’ treatment makes in the performance of Bentley Continental GT, check out this video of the car going up the the famous hill climb at the 2012 Goodwood FoS in the hands of modern-day Bentley boy, Juha Kankkunen. This heavy car does shift pretty swiftly thanks to its W12 engine which develops 625 PS (616 bhp/460 kW) and 800 Nm of torque. It also generates some serious G’s through the corner, which shows Bentley has done a good job tuning the chassis in this car.

Performance figures are pretty astonishing; 0-60 mph sprint in 4.0 seconds (0-100 km/h in 4.2s) and a top speed of 205 mph (329 km/h).

Bentley Continental GT Speed has a close-ratio, ZF eight-speed automatic transmission, and a uniquely tuned chassis with uprated steering and suspension systems and a lowered ride height. The enhanced chassis is complemented by unique 21-inch Speed wheels, available in two lustrous finishes, and fitted with 275 35 R21 Pirelli PZero ultra-high performance tyres. Despite all the performance-minded changes, this car is still a pure Bentley; luxurious and majestic in every way.
