About a week ago at the Pebble beach Concours, and through Gooding & Co auction, Jay Leno auctioned off his special Fiat 500 Prima Edizione (chassis number 2), to benefit Fisher House, a charity that provides housing for families of wounded vets. Now Jay’s garage has released a video of the event, attended by Leon Panetta and Army Chief of Staff Ray Odiero.
Turns out the car raised $350,000 and not $385K as reported earlier, but that is not important. What is important is Jay’s generosity and his efforts in helping others. What a great guy. He is one of the most magnificent human beings we’ve ever known.
