Everytime we hear something about the Jaguar F-Type it’s good news! The British car maker announced they have signed with singer Lana Del Ray as the sports car’s official ambassador. She basically has to sell the car, which shouldn’t be hard considering how lovely Lana is, and how awesome the F-Type is.

Del Ray and Jaguar has great chemistry together, seeing as the artist has a retro-modern style that goes very well with what Jaguar and particularly the F-Type is all about. The car is supposed to bring back the fun of classic sports car, with modern features you would expect from a 2013 convertible.

What’s more, hooking up with a cool artist like Lana will improve the F-Type’s image. Not that it needed it really, but celebrity endorsement is always good. Come to think of it, it will also make Lana look cooler.

“The allure of Jaguar is in large part due to its duality–a unique blend of authenticity and modernity, two values that we believe are shared with Lana in her professional achievements,” said Adrian Hallmark, Jaguar’s brand director.

So, it’s all good. All we have to do now is wait for the Paris Motor Show and the F-Type’s unveiling.
