Yesterday we told you about Motor Trend’s quest to find the 2012 best driver’s cars and how they ended up crowning the Porsche 991. They had great fun driving these fine cars for seven days on freeways, canyon roads and race tracks to choose the winner. But before sending the cars back to the car makers, they decided to have one last fun with them. Welcome to the World’s Greatest Drag Race.

The cars in this company include Lamborghini Aventador, Nissan GT-R Black Edition, Ford Shelby GT500, McLaren MP4-12C, Jaguar XKR-S, Porsche 911 Carrera S, Subaru BRZ, Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG Black Series and Chevrolet Camaro ZL1. The venue is an abandoned airstrip at El Toro Marine Base.
