The new look Toyota Auris is not going on sale until December, but their UK branch announced the prices and specs of the car just as it’s getting ready to for its Paris Motor Show debut.  Looking more aggressive than ever, and fitted with more equipments than ever, the new Auris starts at £14,495.

The 2013 Auris launches with a lineup of engines including the 1.33 Dual VVT-i and 1.6 Valvematic petrol and 1.4 D-4D diesel units, plus Auris Hybrid with Hybrid Synergy Drive. Standard is a six-speed manual gearbox, while a Multidrive S CVT is offered as option. The Hybrid gets its own unique E-CVT automatic.

Toyota Auris comes with four trim grades of Active, Icon, Sport and Excel, details of which are mentioned below. But the standard kit on all models include seven airbags, a new follow-me-home lighting system, Hill-start Assist Control, Vehicle Stability Control and LED daytime running lights.

Notable optional extras include the Toyota Touch & Go navigation and connectivity system, a panoramic roof, and Comfort Pack for Sport version, which adds rain-sensing wipers, dusk-sensing headlights, Smart Entry and Start and a folding function for the door mirrors.
