The latest version of Codemaster’s official Formula 1 game is almost here as the game maker releases the demo version ahead of the full game’s launch for the Xbox 360, Playstation 3, and PC. The demo will give you a taste of what is said to be the most realistic game of its type yet, which probably means you will spend all your time spinning and crashing and won’t enjoy a second of it!
That is of course until you master the handling of F1 beasts, which shouldn’t be a problem thanks to the game’s Young Driver Test and Season Challenge. You better get one of those steering wheel joysticks though.
In the Young Driver Test, which takes inspiration from the real-life event held at Abu Dhabi, players will learn how to handle and get the most out of motorsport’s most exciting and responsive racing cars with a series of tests and videos.
As for the Season Challenge feature, players will compete across just ten races to become the number one driver on the grid. The demo only features Monza track though. For more you have to buy the game.
Demo release dates: Xbox 360 – 10/09/12 PlayStation 3 – (USA) 11/09/12 PC via Steam – 11/09/12 PlayStation 3 – (EU) 12/09/12 PlayStation 3 – (Japan) 24/09/12.
