Yaris Trend is a special edition of Toyota’s fluffy little hatchback set for debut at this year’s Paris Motor Show. As the name suggests, Toyota Yaris Trend is aimed at the younger customers who like a bit of style and a couple of high-tech gadgets in a small and affordable package. And that’s what this car is all about: extra garnish.
So on the outside of the Yaris Trend you will find chrome elements in the fog light surrounds and headlamps, as well as chrome door sills and door mirror covers. The C and B pillars are also blacked out for good measure. You also get roof spoiler and hybrid-style LED lamp clusters.
But the most striking features of the exterior include the two-tone 16-inch alloy wheels and the Deco Line graphics. The car will be available in white or silver.
The interior of Yaris Trend is trendier than its exterior, what with the black and white theme going on.Unique to this version only the soft-touch dashboard and upper door panels finished in white to emphasise the horizontal lines of the design. The dashboard itself matches the exterior bodywork with Deco line surface detailing. It also gets a shorter shift liver with a larger knob, painted trim elements, and ochre-coloured stitching.
The compact hatchback can be specified with the firm’s latest multimedia system, the Toyota Touch and, with satellite navigation, Toyota Touch & Go.
