Spanish car maker SEAT released pricing details of the new Toledo range for the British market. With a base price of £12,495, SEAT claims that this Toledo is very cost-effective and offers the most space for money in this segment. The car has a large 550 liter boot, and big comfy seats for four passengers inside the cabin.
The engine range includes two very frugal Ecomotive units; the 1.6 TDI 105 PS diesel and the 1.2 TSI 105 PS petrol. They both feature not only stop/start system, but also Energy Recovery system to capture brake energy otherwise lost as heat. Again, not a common feature in this class.
Standard equipment for the 2013 SEAET Toledo include 15-inch steel wheels; black door handles and wing mirrors; front electric windows; MP3 CD player with AUX-in; four speakers; Electronic Stability Control (ESC); driver and front passenger airbag; passenger airbag disconnect; front side and curtain airbags; front seatbelt reminders; ISOFIX points with Top Tether.
