So we’re already aware of the starting price for the amazing new Jaguar F-Type in the UK. But now the British company has revealed the pricing details for the American market as well. The F-Type starts from $69,000 for the weakest model, powered by the 340 PS supercharged V6 engine. That sounds like a good price, considering the looks, the performance, and the Jaguar badge.
If you go for the more powerful version of the V6 model which makes 380 PS, and is kind of the best compromise between power and fuel efficiency, the price rises to $81,000. Those setting their sights on the full-fat 490 PS supercharged V8 model, they should be prepared to right a check for at least $92,000. The V8 can give Aston Martin Vantage V8 a run for its money.
The lightweight, sort of, sports car features a fast fabric roof which adds to the classical look. The proportions of the F-Type has a slight hint at the legendary E-Type, especially at the back. Jaguar sole goal in developing this car was driving fun. But that doesn’t mean they’ve compromised on safety and comfort. This is a flawless car, as far as sports car go.
The F-Type has a driver-focused cockpit with every luxury amenity you would want in a two-seater roadster, even in the base model. To enhance the F-Type’s driving sensation, Jaguar has fitted the 280 and 490 PS model with a tricksy exhaust that sound kind of like classic British sports cars: heavenly.
As a reminder, in the UK prices for the F-Type start from £58,500 for the base V6 model, while the F-Type S runs for £67,500 and the F-Type V8 S for £79,950.
