To cope with UK’s unpredictable weather, especially at this time of year, Skoda announced launched of a rugged, outdoorsy version of the Superb. The Superb Outdoor is basically a jacked-up Superb estate, but there is nothing wrong with that. Practicality of the estate car, more ground clearance and a 4×4 system together result in an unbeatable combination.
Being an off-roady sort of vehicle, the Outdoor comes with a couple of durable protective strips at the base of the doors, bumpers and round the wheel arches, which are not only functional, they also alter the looks of the car, making it cooler. The Outdoor also has 18-inch Luxon alloys as standard.
The car features a permanent four-wheel-drive system and can be had with three powertrains including a 1.8 TSi petrol with 160 PS, and a 2.0 liter TDI with either 140 or 170 PS.
Standard equipment include a four-spoke leather multi-function steering wheel, Bluetooth for hands-free connectivity, Sunset Glass behind the B-pillar, Hill-Hold Control, Tyre Pressure Monitor, heated windscreen washer nozzles and integrated front headlight washers.
