New pictures of Honda/Acura NSX have surfaced on the web ahead of a possible Detroit debut. Compared to the concept NSX, revealed at last year’s Detroit Motor Show, this car actually looks fancier, what with the revised front-end and a blacked-out grille.
The first picture of the interior has also been leaked, showing a design remarkably similar to that of the Lexus LFA. It features a tall center console with simple controls, and a large screen at the top. Two-tone leather dominates the cabin, while carbon fiber trims give it an air of exclusivity.
Details of the power train are yet to be released, but last time we checked the NSX was supposed to come with a hybrid system featuring a Honda VTEC V6 as the base, and an electric motor connected to it. The Sport Hybrid SH-AWD system, as Honda calls it, comes with a dual-clutch transmission. The new NSX is said to be a rival for the Nissan GT-R in terms of performance.
Stay tuned for official details and pictures, should Honda decide to release them!
