SEAT expands the Copa edition range in the UK market by adding the Altea models to this special edition family. What is Copa? It is a value-added package that gives buyers extra equipment worth between £1,100 and £1,500.
The Altea comes in two S Copa and SE Copa trim levels, based on the standard S and SE versions of both Altea and Altea XL ranges, available with three engines including 1.2 TSI 105 PS, 1.6 TDI 105 PS, and 2.0 TDI 140 PS.
The S Copa adds 16-inch ‘Elio’ alloy wheels; a Bluetooth communication package including hands-free phone connection, steering wheel-mounted controls and two additional stereo speakers; dual-zone climate control; front fog lights with cornering function; cruise control; passenger seat height adjustment.
The main highlight of SE Copa is SEAT Media 2.2 incorporates satellite navigation, an SD card reader for music playback, a DAB digital radio tuner, Bluetooth hands-free phone operation and audio streaming, and a multi-function driver’s display, all controlled via a five-inch colour touch screen. That is in addition to rear parking sensors, automatic windscreen wipers and lights, and an auto-dimming rear view mirror.
The Copa edition SEAT Altea is priced between £16,425 and £21,980 .
