Toyota reveals new pictures of its new Proace, a model built in collaboration by the PSA group based on Peugeot Expert, to give the Japanese car maker another shot at the medium duty van market. The Proace will also be produced in France and reach most European markets.

Basically a rebadged Expert, the Proace will be available in two lengths and heights, with load capacities of 5m3, 6m3 or 7m3. Payloads will range from one to 1.2 tonnes and Proace will be able to tow up to two tonnes.

The car has a wide range of usability as it can be specified no just as a normal van, but also a panel van, glass van, or six-seat crew cab. They will also launch various accessories for it to make it suitable for different businesses and operations.

Toyota Proace will be powered by 1.6 and 2.0 liter diesel engines with outputs from 89 to 161bhp, all with Euro 5 standard. You can find the preliminary specs (UK market) after the pictures below:
