This is Middle East’s idea of a proper super car. Meet the Lykan Hypersport by W Motors who operates out of Beirut; a 750 horsepower exotica that is limited to just seven units, and costs $3.4 million USD. No, that’s not a typo.

The reason this car costs that much is not because it is the last word in technology and speed. Sure, it is no slouch, what with a 750 horsepower and 1000 Nm flat-six turbo Porsche engine that enables it to go from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.8 seconds and a top speed of 390 km/h.

It certainly delivers on the performance front – although it is yet to be tested and verified – but it is costly because it has diamond-coated LED lights and gold-stitched leather seats. Even if you didn’t know that it comes from the Middle East, that gold stitching is a telltale sign of this car’s origins. It also comes with a 200 grand watch that they throw in for free to sweeten the deal.
