The new Infiniti Q50 sports sedan will make its European debut at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, featuring new powertrains exclusive to the green continent. It will also showcase the first production application of Direct Adaptive Steering (DAS).
The Q50 was revealed earlier this year at the Detroit Motor Show, featuring Infiniti’s new design philosophy and also the brand’s new nomenclature. Beginning with this car, every new Infiniti will begin with letter ‘Q’.
In America the Q50 will be available with two engines, one a 328-hp V6, and the other a 360-hp Direct Response Hybrid. For Europe, though, they seem to have different plans. We are guessing a couple of four-cylinder engines.
In any case, Infiniti’s booth at the Geneva Motor Show is worth keeping an eye on, as they are going to showcase what they refer to as “the first fruit of the co-operation agreement with alliance partner Daimler AG.”
Infiniti Q50 will share its Geneva stand with the LE Concept, Infiniti’s first 100% electric car, and Vettel’s 2013 Formula 1 car.
