Toyota announced its lineup for this year’s Geneva Motor Show, and it includes some interesting vehicles. First we have the FT-86 Open concept, the open-top version of the GT-86, and then the Toyota i-Road, a personal mobility concept that looks like a bobsled for the roads.
We’ve already told you about the FT-86 concept, and it’s a wonderful car because sooner or later it will be produced as the GT86 Convertible. But this iRoad thingy can steal its thunder. Toyota hasn’t revealed much about it. They just say it’s a “a compact, fun and emissions-free personal mobility concept, designed to offer quick and efficient urban transport for two people.”
These concept cars will be joined by two very important production cars, the British-built Auris Touring Sports and the fourth-generation RAV4 compact SUV. The stylish Auris Tourer is poised to become a new reference point in the market for medium-size estate cars, and as for the RAV4, well, it doesn’t have to prove anything. This car is an established name in the SUV segment. The new model is just a better version of a car that was already pretty good.
The Auris debut will be supported by the presentation of a special design study, the Auris Touring Sports Black, and the RAV4’s by two special design studies, the RAV4 Premium and RAV4 Adventure.
