The WRX will always be the underdog in the world of performance motoring, no matter how good it is compared to its direct rivals. That is slightly sad. But on the upside, while cars like the Evo, GTi, or Focus ST will mark you as a car geek, the Impreza is still cool to be seen in. Well, not in this particular color, of course!

Here’s a brief review of the this 2013 Subaru Impreza WRX special edition by Carlos Lago:

Subaru Impreza WRX is powered by a flat-four turbocharged engine developing 260 horsepower. It comes with a manual gearbox and Subaru’s symmetrical all-wheel-drive system. What that symmetrical means is that the system has the engine mounted in-line with the drivetrain, so power delivery is seamless and constant, which results in better traction compared to rear- or front-wheel-based systems.
