The European version of the Ford EcoSport global crossover arrives in Geneva, promising a smart and technologically-advanced small SUV for the urban jungle. This car slots below Ford Kuga, and offers a good blend of efficiency and fun thanks to its size, weight, and range of EcoBoost engines.

It can be had with the award-winning 125PS 1.0-liter EcoBoost petrol engine, in addition to the 110PS 1.5-liter petrol engine, and a 90PS 1.5-liter diesel. All models come with a couple of advanced driver assistance technologies including Electronic Stability Program and Hill Launch Assist.

The funky-looking EcoSport, developed entirely in South America, also gets the SYNC, Ford’s voice-activated in-car connectivity system, featuring the AppLink system which enables voice control of mobile apps on the move, including the leading music streaming service Spotify. The system also includes an Emergency Assistance feature.
