Pininfarina revealed their new Sergio concept car by releasing the first official sketch of the car ahead of its official Geneva debut. Paying tribute to the late CEO Sergio Pininfarina, this concept is a pure speedster with no doors, roof, or windows.

It’s been a while since the Italian design house came up with an amazing sports car concept. In recent years they’ve been mostly busy with green cars and urban commuters. But this tribute car had to be something special, and indeed it is.

The Sergio has an astonishing design with features like a massive front splitter, a carbon safety cell that wraps around the car, and a roll bar that also acts as a rear spoiler. More details will be released tomorrow when the Geneva show opens its doors to the press.
