Toyota UK announced detailed specs and pricing of the new Avensis saloon and Tourer in the British market. This model comes with a new grade structure, including Active, Icon, Icon Plus and Excel, ad it’s priced from £19,155. It will hit the showrooms from early next month.

So what do you get with the new Avensis? Well, apart from the new and sort of aggressive new looks that are supposed to be cool and exciting, but they really aren’t, you get the same old blend of reliability, practicality, and equipments.

The standard kit includes items like DRL, Bluetooth, adaptive headlights, air con, leather trims, color display, seven airbags, VSC+, and CD player. As you go up, the higher trims offer stuff like smart entry, rain-sensing wipers, 17 or 18-inch wheels, cruise control, climate control, privacy glass, wood trim, parking sensors, Xenon headlights, infotainment system and panoramic roof.

As for the engines, you have the choice of a 1.8 Valvematic petrol engine and 2.0, 2.2 and 2.2 D-CAT diesels. According to engine, six-speed manual and automatic transmissions and Toyota’s Multidrive S CVT are available.
