A full gallery of the 2014 Dodge Durango official photos become available ahead of the car debut at the New York Auto Show, revealing the new SUV in its full glory. Turns out the 2014 model is only a facelift and not a full makeover, which is what the old Durango really needs.
Dodge obviously wanted to keep the old models’ distinct character in the new one. So even though you get redesigned bumpers, grilles and headlights, the car is instantly recognizable as a Durango. Around at the back though, with those new taillights it looks a bit cooler.
Interior changes have been more substantial, but not sure entirely successful. You get a new digital instrument cluster and consoles, while the steering wheel ad shift knob get a new design. The overall feel and quality of the cabin seems to be improved as well, but on the whole it looks like a it of a mess. That is of course understandable. The Durango is a rather cheap seven-seat SUV, so you kinda expect it to be rubbish.
Official details will be released soon. Stay tuned.
