In a brief statement, Toyota announced they will be revealing a new generation of the Highlander mid-size SUV at the upcoming 2013 New York Auto Show. There are absolutely no details available on the car yet, but if Toyota’s other new models are any indication, we can expect a pointy new grille, sporty head and taillights, a much nicer interior than before, and a whole host of up to the minute technology features.

The engine lineup – consisting of a 2.7-liter four-cylinder and a 3.5 liter V6 – is not likely to change.
