English musicians are huge fans of Ferrari. Eric Clapton and Jay Kay are among the most famous ones we can mention. Now, the latter has recently popped by Ferrari’s factory in Maranello to check out their new hyper car, LaFerrari. And he seemed pretty impressed by it.

Jay Kay has a large car collection including more than a few Ferraris. His most prized possession is a black Ferrari Enzo. So naturally, he would be interested in that car’s successor. While in Maranello, JK also met with Ferrari boss Luca di Montezemolo, and visited Atelier Ferrari to learn more about personalization options.

“It’s an amazing car and, just looking at it makes you want to drive it,” said Jay. “I think it’s hard to imagine such a concentration of style, technology, performance and excitement all in the one package.”

Kay is in Italy to finalize details of his appearance at the music and literary festival, “Collisioni” which takes place on 5 July at Barolo, Turin.
