GM tuner Callaway released a rendering of their conceptual design for a Shooting Brake version of the Corvette Stingray. Called the Aero Wagon, this concept ponders the possibility of turning the American sports car into something more practical with a large rear hatch and increased interior space.
They haven’t forgotten about the performance though. Callaway says the AeroWagon is going to be a 200+mph car, which means they must have plans to upgrade the Stingray’s V8 engine as well. The car also features larger rear wheels which are more than just a style thing.
Production of Callaway AeroWagon depends on the market’s reaction. If they green light it, the AeroWagon will be offered as a package for under $15,000.
Works for me, but I'll always been a sucker for wagons… and shooting brakes.
