To give us a taste of how professional racing drivers go about their business, DRIVE channel and Tommy Milner made this video during the 12 Hours of Sebring, showing the whole thing from the drive’s point of view. This video also showcases a collision warning radar system that detects approaching cars and relay the information to the driver via the cars main display.
This is the first time they are using such system in a racing car. In essence, it is the same system modern road cars use to monitor the blind spots. It becomes handy especially in poor weather condition, or during the night, when visibility is not good.
