German tuner Gemballa announced a new variable sport exhausts system for its Porsche Cayenne 958 package. It can be fitted to S and GTS models powered by the naturally-aspirated V8 engine, and gives them a distinctive throaty noise. You can have it for turbo models too, but they need add-on adaptors.
On the non-turbo models, the system, consisting of new rear silencer boxes and an electronic control module, fit straight on. The stainless steel system also features a larger diameter internal tubing to reduce back-pressure, freeing up to 10 horsepower. It comes with signature triple outlets per side design first seen on the Avalanche super car.
You can have the tailpipes in what Gemballa refers to as Black Magic, or just go for the twin outlet-per-side end pipe design in polished stainless steel, which look more conservative.
If you are getting the aero kit, go for the Black Magic because you’ve already passed the flamboyance mark. It is a showy but handsome kit, featuring sport front and rear bumpers, two-tone fender flares and side skirts, and unique wheels.
