Honda may have forgotten how to make proper sports cars, but they are channeling some sportiness into their regular products, as you can see here with this new concept van. Unveiled at the Auto Shanghai 2013, the Concept M is a radical-looking multi-purpose vehicle for the Chinese market.

And it’s not like the M is just a show car. Honda has already confirmed a production version of the Concept M for the Chinese market in the near future. Sure, some of the design features will be toned down for production, but still, as far vans go, the M is a great-looking one.

The car has many unvan-like features such as a large front grille with cool LED lights on each sides, mesh grille inside nicely designed air intakes, and lots of chrome detailing. The car will also be packed with the latest technological features making spending time in its spacious cabin quite good fun. There is no plans to introduce this van in Europe or America for the time being.

According to Honda, the Concept M is “a new-value vehicle that offers the attributes of a passenger car while adding new value through the realization of a comfortable and spacious cabin space made possible by Honda’s packaging technologies, and the fun of driving.
