Swiss luxury watch maker and Ferrari partner Hublot revealed a new special edition timepiece designed to celebrate the Italian car makers new hyper car, LaFerrari. Limited to 50 pieces, the Hublot MP-05 tourbillon watch is very complicated, and also extremely ugly.

I’m sorry, I know it costs a six-figure sum and it is very highly prestigious, but the design of the watch looks plain ugly. It is very technologically advanced though, featuring a unique 11-barrel design that pays homage to Ferrari cars engine compartment. Those barrels are interconnected and can reserve enough power for 50 days.

Not that those who buy this watch actually use it to read the time, but if you decided to do so, it’ll probably take you five minutes to work out which dial tells the the minute, which tells the hour. They are located on the right side around anodized black aluminum cylinders. The watch has a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal face and also features red aluminum, titanium and carbon fiber in its construction.
