It’s been a while since we last saw a car versus plane race, but thanks to guys at Air Malta and the organizers of the annual Paqpali Ghall-Istrina charity fund raising event, we get to watch a new Ferrari F12 Berlinetta take on an Airbus A320 passenger jet. That Ferrari is seriously quick, but there is not much you can do when the rival has almost 30 times your power!
It is always a pleasure to see the Ferrari F12 in action. While its main rival, Lamborghini Aventador, is all about the showing off and making rude noises, the F12 is so discretely beautiful, and lethally fast.
The event, also featuring Lewis Hamilton, raised a total sum of 178,820 Euros. The Ferrari was driven by Christopher Sultana whereas the Airbus was captained by Patrick Calleja, assisted by Mark Attard and supervised by Alan Farrugia.
