Renault has come up with a followup for the Twin’Z hatchback concept revealed earlier this year. This yet unnamed concept car, which seems to be one step closer to production than the Z, will make its debut at the 2013 Monaco F1 Grand Prix.
After that it will be sent to various car shows and motorsport events such as Goodwood festival of speed for dynamic demonstrations. That gives us a clue that this mysterious concept is a hot hatchback of some sort. Making hot hatches has always been Renault’s forte.
The teaser pictures also reveals some interesting details in the car’s design, which is done entirely in-house under the leadership of Laurens van den Acker, such as a Fiat 500-like profile and twin LED fog lights. The word is that this car previews the next generation Twingo.
“This concept car was designed and developed entirely by Renault Design as an expression of the brand’s passion and an illustration of how different takes on the same city car are possible,” says Renault.
