Bentley announced a new range of limited edition models celebrating the 90th anniversary of the legendary Le Mans 24 Hours endurance race and Bentley’s participation in the inaugural event, and the 10th anniversary of Bentley’s victory in 2003. They are only available in North America, and each model is inspired by a driver from Bentley’s six Le Mans victories.
Couldn’t get more exclusive than that. The Le Mans edition models – based on Continental GT and Mulsanne – share some of their features, including the W12 engine, albeit in different tunes of output. They also come with unique Le Mans Edition numbered badge, Le Mans Edition clock face, embroidered Le Mans badge to each headrest, tread plates with the limited edition name, unique Le Mans Edition wheels and specific interior veneers and exterior colours.
The first edition is named after original Bentley Boy, John Duff. Exclusive features include Moonbeam exterior color, two-tone Linen and Beluga interior with contrasting stitching, and Piano Black and Bright Aluminium venners.
Then we have the “Benjy” for Dudley Benjafield, boasting VErdant exterior with Linen and Cumbrian Green interior, and Dark Stain Burr Walnut and Bright Aluminium trims.
Next is the Woolf Barnato car with Granite exterior, Hotspur with Beluga stitching interior, and carbon fiber trims if you go for the Continental, or Dark Stain Burr Walnut with Dark Aluminium in the Mulsanne.
Tim Birkin‘s edition is the more sober one, featuring Glacier White body with Beluga interior and Piano Black and Bright Aluminium veneer.
Then there’s the 1930s race winner Glen Kidston edition with Dark Sapphire exterior, two-tone Newmarket Tan and Imperial Blue interior and Dark Stain Burr Walnut and Dark Aluminium trimming.
Finally, we have the Guy Smith edition with Beluga exterior and interior, and Piano Black and Dark Aluminium venner.
