Czech car maker Skoda is launching a new special edition version of the Yeti, its multi-purpose family vehicle, in the United Kingdom. It’s aptly named the Adventure Edition, and it is styled accordingly to reflect the car’s abilities to cope with the most active, outdoorsy kind of lifestyle.
It’s a good job then that the Yeti is a tough and rugged car, boasting solid build quality and amazing capabilities for its size. The Adventure edition boosts the appeal of the Yeti by offering new visual features, interior appointments, and a range of new equipment at no cost. It’s all included in the £18,640 (110 PS model) and £21,215 (140 PS model) price tags.
The exclusive visual features of the Yeti Adventure include 17-inch black-and-chrome ‘Matterhorn‘ alloys, a black roof with black door mirrors, silver roof rails and black side mouldings with chrome ledges. You can have the body in either Candy White and Brilliant Silver Metallic.
Inside, and in addition to the silver stitching, you get Amundsen+ satellite navigation, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth connectivity and a multi-function steering wheel to control the audio system and telephone. Those are in addition to the standard kit of the SE model.
Engine-wise, and as mentioned, the Yeti comes with a 2.0-litre TDI CR diesel unit that makes 110 PS in the two-wheel-drive model, and 140 PS in the four-wheel-drive version. The former does 55.4mpg, and the latter 48.7mpg.
