At this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show Suzuki will reveal its latest contender in the hugely popular crossover segment. Called the iV-4 and dubbed a small SUV concept, this car previews an upcoming production model to be added to Suzuki’s utility vehicles lineup.
Not much is known about the iV-4 at this point, but the first time we laid eyes on the accompanied teaser pictures Suzuki had sent us, we thought it’s a Murano. The front grille and the headlights have a unique and rather odd shape for a Suzuki, especially that grille which is divided into five different section.
The side profile is what gives this car’s identity away, if you haven’t noticed the badge already. It is fairly boxy and has higher ground clearance than we usually see in cars of this type. Those are characteristics of all Suzuki crossovers, and are telltale signs of the car’s superior capability in dealing with rough ground than the rivals.
More information will be released closer to debut day in Frankfurt.
