Granted, there are so many awesome super cars at the Goodwood Festival of Speed that nobody’s going to waste their time hanging around Skoda’s booth. But they are bringing a rather interesting car to this year’s party. It’s the new Octavia vRS, and it is a performance car we can all afford – unlike everything else at Goodwood!

The Czech car maker is an official partner of the festival, and is going to have its biggest presence yet. It’s not just about showing cars, either. The Skoda Pavilion will be home to a number of unique interactive experiences, such as an innovative 4D cinema that will give viewers a unique insight into the new Octavia vRS.

They will also be active at the moving motorshow, with the vRS going up and down the hill as many times as it can. They even offer chance to a few lucky participants to drive the car on the hill. What’s more, Skoda will be present at the Forest Rally Stage with a pair of title-winning Fabia S2000s driven by rallying legend Freddy Loix and rising star Sepp Wiegand.

They are also bringing along two of their rarest classic cars – a 130RS that won the European Touring Car Championship in 1981 and a 1101 Sport that entered the 1950 Le Mans 24hr race.
