Concorso Italiano is the venue where Fiat reveals a special GQ edition of the 500 Cabrio for the American market. A hardtop version of the 500 GQ was recently announced for the UK, but the American version is a tad more special, being a convertible and all.

2014 Fiat 500c GQ Edition comes with only on engine, the 1.4 liter MultiAir with 160 horsepower and up to 170 lb.-ft., and gets a unique look that set it apart from the rest of the 500 family. The car comes with 16-inch split five-spoke aluminum wheels in Hyper Nero (black) with a Rosso (red) center cap. There is also a rear spoiler, a rear diffuser, dual exhaust system, blacked-out lights and GQ 500 badges.

Inside the cabin Nero leather is dominant material, covering parts of the dash and the sport steering wheel, boasting contrasting Steam (white) inner leather ring. Tungsten accent stitching on Nero cluster and satin chrome trim package are among the other special features of he GQ 500.

Those extras add up to the 500C standard feature which is the cloth roof to provide a enjoyable driving experience. The power-operated cloth top retracts up to the rear spoiler during speeds up to 60 mph. Press the button again and it will fold all the way open (up to 50 mph).
