In an effort to increase the appeal of the Rapid, Czech car maker announced the launch of a new special edition called the StylePLUS. As the name clearly suggests, the Skoda Rapid StylePLUS comes with enhanced styling over the standard version of the car.
But upgrades are not limited to the exterior. The interior is modified as well, and since it is based on the well-equipped Ambition trim level, you get plenty of kit for your money.
On the outside, the Skoda Rapid StylePLUS features gloss black accents in the bumpers, on the mirror caps, door sills, and the boot spoiler; 17-inch wheels in Ray design and two-tone silver and black finish; Xenon adaptive headlights (optional); and a number of special colors including Denim Blue, Corrida Red, Sprint Yellow and Candy White.
Inside, you get luxurious seat covers; leather-wrapped steering wheel; steel pedal set; Piano black accents on the wheel as well as dashboard; leather-wrapped shift knob and handbrake lever; and Amundsen+ SAT NAV system with DAB radio (optional).
2013 Skoda Rapid StylePLUS can be ordered with all the engines in the range, including the 1.2 liter MPI75HP (55 kW); 1.2 liter TSI 86HP (63 kW) or 105HP (77 kW); 1.4 liter TSI 122HP (90 kW); 1.6 liter TDI 90HP (66 kW) or 105HP (77 kW).
