Caterham-Alpine Concept To Be Previewed At Monza

FINALCaterham Teaser 2013 600x399 at Caterham Alpine Concept To Be Previewed At Monza

Caterham has come up with a rather unusual way to announce the launch of a new concept model. They are going to use their Formula 1 cars during the Italian Grand Prix at Monza this weekend as a mobile billboard.

The F1 racers will bear the silhouette of the brand new car, and although it’s not very revealing as to what the finished product looks like, it does give you an idea about its shape. We won’t have to wait long to see the actual car – which is being jointly developed by Renault-Alpine – though, as it will be unveiled by Tony Fernandes, Chairman of Caterham Cars, during the SingTel Singapore Grand Prix race weekend (September 20th to 22nd).

The new Caterham-Alpine Concept is said to be an ultra-high performance model designed and developed with significant input from Caterham’s technology department, Formula 1 team, and their lightweight material gurus.

Sounds like quite a recipe. The actual production car will be released in early 2016.
