The first images of what appears to be the finished product version of the 2014 Hyundai Genesis have hit the web, showing an interesting new design for the Korean family car. It is supposed to be based on the HCD-14 concept, and you can notice that car’s effect in the profile of the new Genesis.

As always, the new Hyundai shares almost nothing at all with the model it replaces. It is as if they know their designs have an expiration date and try not to use any of the old model’s elements in the new product. So the 2014 Hyundai Genesis Sedan gets completely new bumpers, grilles, fenders, doors, head and taillights, which by the way use LED technology.

Hyundais have always been at offering great value by packing their cars full of features, and the new Genesis won’t be an exception. We are hearing it is going to get some very fancy technology features such as an advanced infotainment system, and an HTRAC all-wheel-drive system with a clever electronic brain.

As for the engines, the current lineup of 3.8 liter V6 and 5.0 liter V8 is likely to carry over unchanged, but later on a turbocharged V6 should be introduced to replace the V8. The new Hyundai Genesis will be revealed towards the end of the year.
