Hyundai announced a number of upgrades for the 2014MY Accent, which some you may recognize as the European i30, including more standard equipment and new style and convenience features. As always, cars like the Accent rely on their long list of equipment to compensate for the lack of style and performance.

The 2014 Hyundai Accent now comes with features like one-touch triple turn signal, sliding sun visors and driver’s blind spot mirror, as well as a new audio system with improved voice recognition and button layout. Furthermore, driver’s side auto-up window and tilt-and-telescopic steering wheel are added to 5-door SE and 4-door Premium Package models, while 5-door SE model get an optional B&M Racing Sport Shifter.

Visually, the 2014 Accent features stylish projector headlights with LED accents, and headlamp welcome/escort function. Power still comes from the all-aluminum 1.6-liter Gamma four-cylinder engine, developing 138 horsepower and 123 lb-ft of torque, and averaging 27 mpg city and up to 38 mpg.
