Lexus announced the official pricing for the 2014 CT 200h hybrid hatchback in the American market, and despite the facelift and the other upgrades the car comes with, its MSRP has remained the same as the 2013 model. It’s $32,050, plus a $910 destination charge.
2014 Lexus CT 200h facelift gets new front bumper, LED daytime running lights and updated fog lamp surrounds, as well as new 17-inch wheels, new rear bumper design, LED rear license plate lighting, larger rear spoiler (3 cm), aero-stabilizing fins, shark fin antenna, and above all, the brand’s signature Spindle Grille. Some say it makes it uglier than before, but hey, the car wasn’t really a looker to begin with.
The 2014 model also comes with an upgraded infotainment system featuring the optional generation two Remote Touch Interface. An improved speaker design for both the standard six-speaker and premium 10-speaker audio systems enhance the overall listening experience. A redesigned leather shift knob and sliding sun visors are now standard.
Power comes from a 1.8-liter in-line four-cylinder gas engine and a 650 Volt motor/generator, good for a total output of 134 horsepower. 2014 Lexus CT 200h is by no means a hot hatch, but you can make it look sportier with the F Sport kit that includes items like front bumper with F SPORT mesh grille, black contrast roof, new rear spoiler with two large air ducts, and mesh fog lamp inserts and black surround, plus unique 17-inch wheels.
