Subaru released a teaser shot of its all-new 2015 WRX ahead of the car’s official debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show next week. Based on this picture it appears the renowned high-performance Japanese saloon is getting the aggressive styling it always so desperately needed.
The 2015 Subaru WRX seems to have the mean looks to match its mean performance. In its base model, the new WRX is said to be getting a 2.5 liter four-cylinder boxer engine with 265 horsepower. That is not bad going, especially when hooked to a symmetrical all-wheel-drive system.
Some of the traditional design features of the WRX like that huge hood scoop remain intact in the new model, but the rest of the car features new and fresh details. We do hope that the same level of attention is being paid to the interior, as the design and materials used in the old WRXs were, well, questionable.
Full details and pictures of the 2015 Subaru WRX will be released over the next few days ahead of the L.A. Show.
