Spanish car maker SEAT announced a change in the Altea’s trim level that aims to offer the customer much better value. They have replaced the Copa SE trim with the I TECH, adding a bunch of extra equipment to the car as standard.
Available with both Altea and Altea XL models, and with two new colors of Bahama Blue and Technic Grey, the new I TECH edition comes with 16-inch titanium finish alloys wheels, front parking sensors, a colour TFT screen for rear passengers, and forward sliding rear seats for added versatility.
Those are in addition to the already available list of features, including dark tinted rear windows, roof rails, dual zone climate control, automatic wipers and headlights, rear parking sensors, SEAT Media System 2.2 (including satellite navigation and Bluetooth), a double floor boot, and overhead interior storage.
You still have the choice of three powertrains as before for the SEAT Altea I TECH, including a 1.6 TDI Ecomotive diesel engine with 105 PS, the same engine with a DSG automatic transmission, or a 2.0 TDI diesel with 140 PS.
Prices for the SEAT Altea I TECH start from £19,345 for the normal and £20,065 for an XL model.
