Ford EcoSport, as you may know, is a global compact crossover vehicle designed and developed for the emerging markets such as India. They don’t seem to like it very much over there, though, as one of their tuners, DC Design, decided to give the car a rather thorough facelift.

Well, it is actually more than just a mere facelift, as the car gets an entirely new look. The front bumper, the massive front grille, and the headlights are all changed for new parts. The bumper features a large air intake in the middle and two sets of fog lamps on each side. It looks pretty good, actually.

We’re not so sure about the headlights, though. They are LED units and the way they are arranged works very well with the new front grille and complement the wing mirrors as well. But it makes the EcoSport look like one of those weird creations often seen in Japanese cartoons.

We don’t know yet what Ford feels about this Ford EcoSport by DC Design. What the Indians are saying, basically, is that the standard car looks rubbish. And that they know better. DC has also revamped the car’s interior and done a great job turning it into a luxury lounge complete with LCD screens and stuff.
