Lexus decided to go for a simple and subtle teasing campaign, creating some hype for their latest F model which debuts at the upcoming Detroit Motor Show (NAIAS) next month. And it’s working. Everybody’s quite excited to see what this Lexus RC F is all about.

Lexus themselves say that it’s half the doors, twice the fun. The RC is a two-door version of the IS, so its F version should, by default, get the same 5.0 liter V8 engine found in the sedan car. But you never know. Lexus could surprise us and reveal the car with a hybrid powertrain.

This second teaser picture shows us the car’s bonnet which features an air intake. That is car talk for a high performance machine. If you got a hood scoop, you got power. We are starting to get a pretty good picture of what the RC F is like by combining this and the first teaser, which showed a flared wheel arch and a sizable wheel.
