Toyota GT86 Sedan: New Rendering Released

gt 86 sedan render 600x399 at Toyota GT86 Sedan: New Rendering Released

Toyota caused a bit of a stir when they, unofficially, revealed that they are thinking about a sedan version of the GT86 sports car. The idea of a four-door GT86 that delivers the same driving joy as the coupe with the practicality of a saloon car is hugely appealing. So much so the internet cannot stop thinking about it.

Here’s a new rendering of the Toyota GT86 Sedan, and you have to admit, it is looking pretty awesome. OK, let’s not get carried away. The GT86 is not really a looker. But this rendering confirms that elongating the car and adding two doors will not mess up the design. If anything, a low and wide sedan car looks even better than a coupe.

This car, along with the convertible version of the GT86, exists only in Toyota’s computers as a proposal. Nobody knows what Toyota will do next with the GT86’s winning recipe. They have said the convertible is put on hold for now, but we reckon eventually they are going to launch all the different versions we are hearing rumors about. If there is a market for it, they will build it.
