Subaru officially confirmed the debut of the all-new version of the Legacy at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show in February. Now, Subaru is not exactly known for their brilliant design, but they promise this new model looks slamming.

The teaser pictures they released doesn’t reveal much, but the 2015 Subaru Legacy is said to feature a sleeker, more coupe-like profile with a faster windshield rake angle and narrower A-pillars than the previous model. All this is to create a sporty and modern look for an otherwise neutral-looking sedan.

Subaru has already previewed the new Legacy with the Levorg Concept, which was quite a looker. The production version of that car, already on sale in Japan does not look as hot as the concept, but still, it’s a pretty good design for a car of this type. So hopes are high for the Legacy.

Technical details of the 2015 Subaru Legacy is yet to be revealed, but we do hope they launch a version powered by the WRX STi’s 300 horsepower engine.
