Usually when Ferrari launches a hard-core, track-focused version of their super cars, they look pretty much the same as the standard model, only distinguished with a racing stripe that costs an awful lot of money. With the new 458 Speciale, though, they went the extra mile. The car is not only a world apart from the normal model in terms of driving dynamics, it also looks substantially different.

Ferrari 458 Speciale features a different aerodynamic design than the Italia in accordance to the extra oomph extracted from the engine. The 4.5 liter V8 motor now churns out 605 horsepower and over 540Nm of torque.
With performance records like 0 to 100 km/h in 3 seconds and 200 km/h in 9 seconds, the car is of course biblically quick. But it’s not eh straight line where the Speciale really shines. To see its real talents, you need to take the Specaile by the scruff of the neck and throw it into a corner. How did Ferrari make a car that corners better than 458 Italia? Because that is as good as cars ever get.
